It's three out of three for Fair Oak, who successfully defended 210-6 to beat potential Southern Premier League Division 3 promotion rivals and 50th birthday boys Gosport Borough by eight runs at Privett Park.
Assad Abbas hit a half-century for Oaks and, with support from Ed Kemp (40), Rhys Oxley (38) and Charlie Gwynn (37) guided the visitors to a score which proved just enough. Gosport closed at 202-6.
Langley Manor extended their unbeaten start with a three-wicket win over Lymington II (152), while St Cross Symondians II outscored newly promoted Ryde to win by 93 runs. Paul Hawkins (57) made the only fifty of the match which saw Ryde suffer their second SPL3 setback.
Andrew Galliers hit 123 and shared a 181-run opening stand with Simon Loat (49), but was arguably pipped for the man-of-the-match by Basingstoke & North Hants all-rounder Steve Bucksey, whose 5-22 spell reduced the visitors to 236-9 and then scored 64 to help Dean Nurse (65 not out) get the Bountymen home by three wickets.
