Sarisbury Athletic leapt back to the Southern Premier League Division 1 summit after shattering Andover’s recent six-match winning run in emphatic style at Allotment Road.
They rolled the Lions out for 95 to win by 132 runs, having posted a decent 227-7 on the back of a key knock by left-hander Jack Lovett, left.
The victory took Sarisbury back above Andover and three points ahead of Hook & Newnham Basics, who steamrollered all but mathematically relegated OTs & Romsey by seven wickets.
Lovett hit 94 (one six and 14 fours) and shared a significant century third-wicket stand with Harry Hovey (42) before Chris Sanders clipped a crisp 31 not out for the hosts.
Babu Veettil took 4-41 for Andover, who dipped to 25-4 against Jason Allmark (3-23) and Shayne Freemantle (2-22).
Wickets fell at regular intervals after that, with the canny Paul Jewell returning 5-21.
