Hampshire Women’s county leg spinner Providence Cowdrill led the way as IBM Hursley tasted championship success for the second time in three seasons.
County Division 4 North winners in 2017, they emerged triumphant from a closely contested three-cornered scrap with RAM and Sparsholt to take the County 3 North title.  Only nine points separated the top three.
Providence (left) took 32 wickets – winning the Division 3 North bowling award in the bargain – including a 7-31 haul against Amport and another five-wicket return against Hursley Park.  Dan Rides took 27 wickets, Sabih Reham 20 and 16-year old Will Robbins five wickets against Liss.
Mike Pollard, with 411 runs, was ever consistent with the bat, while Tony Rolfe scored 340 and Rob Pfeiffer 332.
