There were some pretty heavy victories as well – Solent Rangers being beaten by 247 runs, Purbrook by 184 runs, Sarisbury Athletic by 173 and Bedhampton by 147 runs.
Opening pair Steve Clements and Shaun Briggs each scored in excess of 430, Briggs taking 29 runs off am over in one particular game.
Qaiser Naveed didn’t hang around once he arrived at the crease, on five separate occasions getting off the mark with a six. He was also leading wicket taker, with 13 poles.
