The talented 13-year-old, who plays for his Hampshire junior age group side, underlined his potential when he smashed an unbeaten 123 as Liphook & Ripsley’s second team piled up 234-6 in the 125-run friendly match victory over against Portchester, who were dismissed for 109, Steve Saycell taking 4-13.
Henry, who starts at Winchester College next month, hit 18 fours in his unbeaten century. He will be at Eaton Socon on Sunday supporting his spin bowling elder brother Oscar in Liphook & Ripsley’s Village Cup fifth round tie.
