Nick Partridge celebrated his second five-wicket halt as South Wilts II beat Langley Manor by six wickets to secure their first Southern Premier League Cup West 2/3 victory.
With left-armer Will Harries (2-25) as his left-arm partner, Partridge (5-18) sliced through the Langley top order to leave the Manor in dire straits at 33-6 at Knellers Lane.
Langley were gifted 37 extras – 24 wides and no-balls – as they lurched to 97 all out – a total South Wilts chased down, with teenager George Edwards hitting 44 not out.
Fawley had posted a handy 199 (Kieron Earl 59) in the Waterside derby against Hythe & Dibden at Jones lane when play was abandoned due to rain. The top West group showdown between Fair Oak and Bashley (Rydal) II was postponed, alongside Trojans v Paultons.
All three scheduled matches in the East 2/3 group at Portsmouth & Southsea, Purbrook and Tichborne Park were rained off.
