The A31 is set to reopen to motorists on Saturday morning after being closed for nearly two weeks - although exact timings have yet to be announced.
Drivers will face reduced speed limits when the road reopens, with a 40mph limit on the eastbound carriageway and 50mph westbound.
One westbound lane will also remain closed to allow firefighters to safely leave their compound while emergency crews continue working in the area.
