Bashley (Rydal) have completed a unique Southern Premier League double by winning both the ECB Premier Division and the Division 3 championship in the same season.
They clinched a celebrated double with wins over Bournemouth (to win the Premier Division) and Purbrook to become Division 3 winners.
Tom Friend hit an unbeaten 84 as Bashley chased down Bournemouth's competitive 238-5 to win by five wickets with eight balls to spare, while at the BCG, Arno Hattingh hit 112 before Sam Stroud hit 82 and later took 5-27 in the second team's 60-run victory over Purbrook, for whom Josh McCoy scored 101.
