Bournemouth all-rounder Simon Woodruff has been named Round 5 'Cricketer of the Week' after his outstanding performance in yesterday's 118-run victory over Totton & Eling at Southern Gardens.
The left-hander hit a maiden and an unbeaten 117 (one six and 14 fours) in Bournemouth's 274-8 and later ripped out four of Totton's top six batsmen to finish with a league best 5-27 off ten overs.
Sway's Hugh Bernard was another lead Round 5 performer, with 100 (Sway were 55-5) and later taking 4-47 against Havant II at the Jubilee Ground.
