Teenage Bournemouth pace bowler Oli Breckon starred with a five-wicket haul as Dorset powered into the NCCA Trophy semi-finals with a thumping win over Devon at North Perrott.
He returned a personal senior best 5-33 as Devon were dismissed for 201-3, a total Dorset polished off with Oli Soames (99) and Sam Young (67) sharing a 141-run partnership.
Southern Premier League cricketers took all ten Devon wickets, with Bournemouth teenage left-arm spinner Conor Smith celebrating his debut with 2-20, including the wicket of Bashley (Rydal) all-rounder Dan Goodey, ironically caught by Lions team-mate Breckon !
Opening the bowling, Bashley's Ben Fletcher took 1-26 and Simon Woodruff 1-44.
Dorset are drawn away to 2021 winners Berkshire in the semi-finals, with Finchampstead set to host the tie on Sunday August 7. Oxfordshire play Cumbria in the other semi-final.
