Second placed Portsmouth & Southsea enjoy a 14-point lead over Andover ahead of their final two Southern Premier League Division 2 matches.
They visit Sparsholt on Saturday before New Milton come to St James's Park on August 29.
P & S were up against it when Exeter University left-hander Joe Farndale (93) and George Neave (50) eased Liphook & Ripsley to 192-3, but the innings collapsed against Jono Willey (5-43) and the youthful visitors were dismissed for 259.
P & S were stumbling on 71-4 when Jacob Harris departed for a duck. Step forward Ned Rockett and Tom Benfield, who added 116 for the fifth wicket before the latter fell for a 66-ball 59.
Rockett (86 not out) and Alex Davidson (27) put on a further 54 for the sixth. Jake Peach then struck four fours in an eight-ball unbeaten 19 to help P & S reach their target with 2.4 overs to spare at St James.
Former Zimbabwean Test international Nyasha Mayavo was Andover’s hero in a 200-run slaying of Sparsholt. The hosts had crumbled to 15-3 when Mayavo arrived in the middle, later sinking to 41-5.
Mayavo responded with a stunning 146, lifting Andover up to 288, with decent back-up from John Nyumbu (27) and tailenders Babu Veettil (28) and Toby Hopton (26). Hampshire Under-15s all-rounder Cam Mitchinson returned an SPL best 4-22 as Sparsholt were shot out for 88.
