Hambledon opener Chris Pratt celebrated his third Southern Premier League century as last season's runaway Division 2 champions whipped Fair Oak by eight wickets at Lapstone Park.
He hit a six and 16 fours as the Dons chased down Oaks' 195-9 with 15 overs to spare.
Pratt [left] shared a 61-run start with Will Berrill (22) and 81 with Henry Glanfield (37).
Glanfield fell to Tom Merrill but Justin Behrens was 23 not out when Pratt hit the winning runs.
Oaks, who will be boosted by Hampshire opener Fletcha Middleton in Saturday's visit to Havant, were earlier two down with just 13 on the board but brothers Harry (44) and Sam (34) Reed put together a fifty partnership to haul their side out of the mire.
After that, the Hambledon bowlers steadily chipped their way through the Oaks order, ten Olly Whittle their most effective performer with three wickets at a personal cost of just 29 runs.
Dan Wheble made 16, Ben Smith 21 and Tom Merrill a spectacular 32 not out at the end. But a final total of 195 for 9 from fifty overs was definitely below par on the excellent Lapstone surface.
