Players in all 20 matches taking place in the first round of the Southern Premier League will be competing to become the first 'Cricketer of the Week' an award sponsored and promoted by www.vimpsatthecrease.com cricket website.
All recreational cricketers are eligible, alongside non-professional overseas players. The only one's not eligible are foreign nationals who have played First Class or List A overseas in either 2021 or 2022.
