The Dorset Cricket Society has announced an attractive programme of speakers for the upcoming 2019/20 winter season, with former Hampshire captain Jimmy Adams, ex-Warwickshire & England opening batsman Dennis Amiss and past Zimbabwe skipper David Houghton all listed to appear in October.
The DCS meets every Thursday afternoon (from 1.45pm) throughout the close season at the Hurn Bridge Social Club, adjoining Christchurch FC and the Hurn Cricket Centre and membership is open to all cricket enthusiasts and comes highly recommended.

Jimmy Adams will open the batting on Thursday 17 October, with Dennis Amiss (24 October) and David Houghton on 31 October. Vic Marks, Paul Downton, Rev Andrew Wingfield-Digby, Alan Fordham (ECB Cricket Operations Manager) and Derek Randall in the subsequent batting order.
