Jim Graham-Brown, who played county cricket for Kent & Derbyshire as well as Minor Counties for Cornwall and Dorset, is the Dorset Cricket Society's opening day speaker at the Hurn Bridge Social Club (aka Christchurch FC) on Thursday at 1.45pm.
He then had a career in education culminating in being headmaster of two schools first in Cornwall and then Bath. On his retirement he took up writing plays, including two for the PCA, one about Colin Milburn, the other about Chris Lewis. Jim comes highly recommended.
Among the Autumn term speakers are former Middlesex batsman Roland Butcher, Hampshire & South Africa cricketer Kyle Abbott, Vic Marks, ECB Match referee Mike Smith (ex-Gloucestershire & England), Sussex coach Paul Farbrace and former Tasmania cricketer and now Somerset Chief Executive Jamie Cox.
