Three weeks of dry Spring weather has enabled clubs to press on with pre-season rolling etc., none more so than at Fareham & Crofton, who have two squares to maintain at their long established Bath Lane ground.
Head curator Mike Steele (centre), now in his tenth season, has seen the club attract good ground reports from visiting Division 3 captains and panel umpires. Fareham finished 14th then 12th in the overall tables. Captained this term by Cape Town spin all-rounder Craig Jeffery, Fareham have a pre-season warm-up match with Calmore Sports penciled in for April 12.
