Finn Gordon's century weekend [Roy Honeybone]
Teenage Bashley (Rydal) cricketer Finn Gordon had a weekend to remember, following up his century for the Hampshire Academy with a maiden National Counties CA hundred for Dorset against Wales NC in Ebbw Vale.
Gordon got his eye in by making 128 as the Academy piled up 347-6 at the Fagan/BCG Ground - the drawn match taking the Hampshire youngsters to the top of the ECB Southern Premier League with five matches to go.
Less than 24 hours later, Gordon made 123 in Dorset's 374-9 in the Welsh valleys. He slept well last night ! Full report to follow.
