Former Havant and Hampshire Academy all-rounder Andy Gorvin his currently cutting his teeth with Glamorgan in the Royal London 50-over Cup competition.
The 24-year old, who recently graduated from Cardiff University, hails from Hayling Island and captained Portsmouth Grammar School during his period at Havant. He is currently captaining St Fagan's, the ECB South Wales Premier League champions and 2021 leaders.
Gorvin, who has been playing for Wales MC in the National Counties Championship, made his RLC debut against Northants and earlier today was Glamorgan's tidiest bowler with figures of 0-27 off seven overs, having caught opener Stephen Davies early on.
He later found himself at the crease with Glamorgan needing a six off the last ball of the game from left-arm spinner Goldsworthy to win the game and came close with a powerful four over the bowler's head. He finished with 12 not out as Somerset won by one run.
