
James Fuller [left] struck an innings defining century to turn around Hampshire seconds’ fortunes and set up a resounding ten-wicket win over a combined Kent/Sussex IIs side at Canterbury’s Polo Farm.
Replying to a Kent/Sussex total of 304, Hampshire lurched to 112-6 (Cameron Steel 35) before Fuller (149) turned the tide, dominating consecutive century partnerships with Imtiaz (57) and Keith Barker (55) to guide the visitors to 391 all out.
Scott Currie, who shared six Kent/Sussex first innings wickets with Felix Organ, and Ajeet Dale linked up to rush the combined side out for 99, leaving Hampshire 16 runs to clinch a ten-wicket victory.
