HAMBLEDON clinched a second consecutive Southern Premier League promotion when they thrashed Division 2 rivals Hartley Wintney by 153 runs at Ridge Meadow.
Left-hander George Marshall led the way with 102 as Hambledon posted 253-6 before dismissing Hartley Wintney for 103. Three points from next Saturday's visit to relegation threatened Bashley (Rydal) II will see the Dons crowned champions for a second season running. They won SPL3 in 2021.
