Hampshire Cricket have announced that batsmen Harry Came and Oli Soames have departed the Club.
It was agreed the duo would be released to pursue opportunities elsewhere at the end of the 2020 season, following the conclusion of their contracts.
“It’s been a pleasure to work with both Harry and Oli and they have been a credit to themselves and the Club during their time at the Ageas Bowl,” said Director of Cricket Giles White.
“We felt that now was the right moment to allow them to pursue other opportunities elsewhere - we wish them well for the future.”
Came, 22, who recently helped St Cross Symondians ‘seconds’ win the Southern Premier League Cup, made only five first team appearances for Hampshire, scoring 72 runs.  He originally signed at the Ageas Bowl after a prolific 2018 season with Kent Second XI for whom he made four centuries.
Soames made 238 runs in his 12 matches for Hampshire, the 24-year old Loughborough University graduate's highest score of 62 coming in May 2019 setting up the County Championship win over Nottinghamshire at Newclose.
