Hampshire teenagers Veer Patel (left) and Kit Morris shared a 207-run opening partnership in the ECB Under-16 County Cup mauling of Cornwall at Lord Wandsworth College.
Patel hit two sixes and ten fours in his 113, while in keeping with best Hook & Newnham Basics traditions, KGV raised Morris kept the ball on the ground hitting 21 fours in his 142 as Hampshire posted 353-5.
Cornwall were dismissed for 112. Hampshire top the nine-county group ahead of visiting Somerset on Sunday and hosting Glamorgan at South Wilts on Wednesday.
