Academy prospect and skipper Tom Prest has led the way with several match winning scores and is the fifth highest overall run scorer in the competition.
The Canford all-rounder, along with left-arm spinner Mo Abbas and Ventnor’s Zac Wells, have been playing for the South & West at the ESCA Bunbury Festival at Millfield this week.
Hampshire face Middlesex YCs in the quarter-finals at East Woodhay, south of Newbury, on Wednesday (11am) and, if successful, will play in the ECB national finals at Kidworth, Leicestershire, on August 22/23.
