The ECB Southern Premier League is increasing the points penalties where bans or suspended bans are imposed on offending clubs to take effect from the start of the 2025 cricket season.
A Level 1 offence will now attract a 4 point penalty (increased from one point) with 6 points (currently 2 points) being deducted for a Level 2 offence.
Level 3 and 4 offences will be decided upon by the disciplinary panel, but most likely no lower than 8 or 10 points deduction, respectively.
League points deductions may, at the League's sole discretion, be applied immediately or at the start of the following League season.
The Premier League handled 15 disciplinary cases this past season, including two Level 4 incidents.
