Basingstoke & North Hants are back propping up the ECB Southern Premier League table after a five-wicket defeat by a Jude Wright inspired Alton.
Wright followed up a four-wicket return with an unbeaten 71 which earned him the round 13 Cricketer of the Week prize, which he’ll receive at Saturday’s visit to Bashley (Rydal).
The Brewers’ win over Basingstoke was their sixth in seven completed Time matches, and takes them to within nine points of table topping St Cross Symondians.
