Jack Murrell's remarkable nine-wicket return for Hook & Newnham Basics against relegation threatened Division 1 rivals Andover last month puts him third in the all-time list of Southern Premier League bowling performances.
Murrell took 9-29 at the KGV, where Hook skittled Andover for 66 to rack up a thumping 149-run win.
His spell on July 27 has only previously been bettered by Richard Pineo, who took 9-16 for Havant against Liphook & Ripsley in 2004 and Bashley (Rydal) left-armer Brad Currie, with 9-28 against Lymington last season.
Lymington pair Matt Mixer (9-32) and Matt Metcalfe (9-51) performed nine-wicket shows in 2011 and 2013, respectively, while Aussie Ryan Duffield took 9-65 against Sarisbury Athletic in South Wilts' 2015 championship winning season.
