Local cricket has been saddened that Hambledon stalwart scorer Jacqueline (Jackie) Turner has lost her long battle with cancer.
Jackie, like many of the Turners, was a longstanding and integral part of the Hambledon cricket family. She represented Hampshire Women, and played 3rd and 4th XI cricket for Hambledon. But she will be most remembered — and missed — as the 1st XI scorer for the past 15 years.
