Joe Vaughan struck 146 not out and shared a blistering pre-tea partnership with James Trodd as OTs & Romsey hauled themselves out of he Southern Premier Division One places with an 83-run win at Totton & Eling,
Vaughan struck three sixes and 17 fours and shared useful stands with Charlie King and Rob Newman (58) before the scoreboard almost blew a fuse.
With eight overs remaining, OT's were 208-3 : the final eight overs saw Vaughan and Trodd add an unbeaten 118-run partnership.
Trodd hit a rapid 59 not out from 26 balls and Vaughan batted the entire innings for 146 not out from 144 balls. Final score 326-3.
Bothwell Chapungu (57) and James Taylor (51) were the only Totton batsmen to make any sort of contribution and their final total fell 83 runs short of the target on 243 for 9. Harry Tulk picked up 3-39, with Vaughan and Rhys Wathen chipped in with two wickets each.
