Hampshire prospect Dom Kelly fired his maiden St Cross Symondians in the Winchester club's 172-run ECB national club championship preliminary thrashing of Royal Wootton Bassett at the Green Jackets Ground.
Kelly hit 11 fours in his maiden 102 and shared a hefty 158-run stand with Ed Ellis, who made 85 not out as St Cross recovered from 86-4 to post 264-8.
Royal Wootton Bassett were rushed out for 92, Felix Organ and Charlie Gwynn sharing six of the wickets. St Cross host Bristol on Sunday week, May 11.
Charlie Whitfield (72) and Jon Hudson (53) took Waterlooville to 145-1 at Sussex Premier League club Middleton, but a promising situation was allowed to slip away as the Ville closed 211-7, 22 runs adrift.
James Barker, once an Academy recruit, was man of the match taking 3-32 after making 89 with the bat for Middleton.
South Wilts crashed to 105 all out and a thumping 147-run defeat by Burbage & Easton Royal (252-8), but Portsmouth took former Surrey Championship winners Sunbury to the wire on Southsea seafont.
Suj Daini’s 94 helped Portsmouth reach 246-6 – a total Sunbury reached with their last pair at the St Helen’s crease.
