Dom Kelly caught the eye with ball and bat as the Hampshire Academy moved back into second place in the ECB Southern Premier League with a double-clinching three-wicket win over Lymington at the Sports Ground.
The England Under-19 ODI all-rounder ripped out three of Lymington's top four batsmen and later made a match winning 62 as the Academy chased down 185-9 to win with some comfort.
Kelly's accuracy with the new ball was too much for Ben Rogers, Robbie Hemmings and Monam Abbas, whose 467 runs makes him currently the Premier Division's top batsman.
Jovan Dhariwal (50) cemented himself to the crease for almost the entire Lymington innings, scoring a painstaking but nevertheless crucial fifty which glued things together.
The Cambridge Blue shared a half-century stand with his sibling Kam (38), but Lymington found it an uphill struggle
Guernsey prospect Charlie Forshaw bowled 13 overs for 20 runs, dismissing Gareth Berg.
With Zack Basey (3-55) striking three blows, Lymington lurched to 141-9 leaving Asad Abbas (32 not out) and Liam Thompson to apply the long handle and get the town team to 185-9.
Finn Gordon (36) and Ben Mayes (22) eased the Academy reply to 65-1 after which Kelly assumed the key role, ushering the young Hawks past an uncertain 127-6 and towards the victory target with a six and six fours in his 62. Sam Davis was 26 not out.
