Southern Premier and Hampshire League clubs should be aware that the M27 is to be closed in both directions between Junctions 3 and 4 between Friday 28 and Sunday 30 June 2019 inclusive.
Junction 3 is the Southampton West/M271 turn off and Junction 4 Southampton Airport.
It is anticipated that east and westbound traffic will be diverted through Southampton, thus causing significant delays, particularly for cricketers travelling to matches.
Clubs are advised to make arrangements to leave for their matches far earlier than they normally would do.
