Hampshire will return to the Isle of Wight’s county ground at Newclose in a Royal London Cup 50-over match against Lancashire on Sunday August 9.
It follows this year’s successful County Championship match against Nottinghamshire in May, which Hampshire won handsomely.
The one-day match, Hampshire's last in the group qualifying stage, will start at either 1045 or 1100 and coincides with the start of the Cowes Week yachting regatta.
Hampshire reached this year’s Lord’s final, where they were beaten by Kent, whom they will host at the Ageas Bowl in the opening round of County Championship matches, beginning on Sunday 19 April, before then travelling to Taunton to face Somerset on Saturday 25 April.
Next year’s Vitality Blast competition will begin earlier than previous seasons with Hampshire’s quest to reach a record-breaking eighth T20 Finals Day beginning on Friday 29 May against Sussex Sharks.
Kent Spitfires will be Hampshire’s hosts for the first away contest in the competition on Sunday 31 May. Nine fixtures will be played in total across June before the final three South Group fixtures arrive in July whilst T20 Finals Day will be held at Edgbaston on Saturday 5 September.
Following an impressive 50-over title defence in 2019, Hampshire will start the Royal London Cup campaign later this year, with the competition curtain-raiser seeing Worcestershire Rapids visit the Ageas Bowl for the first time in the competition since 2014, on Sunday 19 July.
In a change to the group structure for 2020, next summer’s List A competition will no longer be divided into two divisions geographically with teams instead playing a selection of counties from across the country.
The Hundred will get underway for the first time in 2020 with the first men’s match scheduled for Friday 17 July.
The Ageas Bowl-based Southern Brave are one of eight teams featuring in the competition, with their first home match taking place on Wednesday 22 July against Manchester Originals, one of five fixtures (four men’s, one women’s) to be hosted at the venue.
