Ryan Bone cracked an unbeaten century and later took four wickets as Hartley Wintney raced past Waterlooville’s 215-9 to win by seven wickets with 10 overs to spare.
The former Eversley all-rounder hit 132 not out which contained two sixes and 18 fours.
Ironically, Hartley’s run chase got off to the worst possible start with Jon Kerr bowled first ball of the innings.
But Angus Brown (31) and Bone steadied the ship before Hugo Hammond (28) shared a century third-wicket stand which set up the win.
Earlier, Ville got off to a flier with Archie Reynolds (75) and Gabe Broadhurst (48) putting on 134 – before Bone stepped in with a 4-34 return which, with Dan Reynaldo’s 3-50, turned the tide
