Luke Matthews, who missed Bournemouth's Southern Premier League Division One championship triumph because of a badly broken finger, made a half-century on debut for St Peter's Old Collegiate in the Adelaide Turf A1 Premier Grade.
The Exeter University captain made 54, but in a losing cause as his side lost by 41 runs to Walkersville (180).
Hampshire Academy pair Felix Organ and Tom Scriven are wintering on Queensland's Gold Coast and playing for Broadbeach Robina.  Organ took 3-25 on debut against Surfer's Paradise, with both Academy batsmen making five with the bat.
Portsmouth's Isle of Wight based left-hander Ben Duggan celebrated his Murdoch University debut in the WACA Suburban Turf League with a match winning 75, while Calmore's Ben Johns hit an unbeaten 76 as Brighton waltzed to an eight-wicket win over Elsternwick in the Victorian Sub-District competition. He struck a six and nine fours.
South Wilts' seamer Luke Evans took his first two wickets on Australian soil, but Melbourne club Parkdale lost to Caufield. Ben Draper hit 18.
