Promising all-rounder Asad Abbas is the latest Lymington player to achieve international recognition.
Representing Pakistan in the Asian Legends T20 cup competition in Thailand, the Hampshire Seniors spin ace took seven wickets in four matches, including 3-1 against Sri Lanka. Pakistan finished fourth in the tournament, which Asad described as "an amazing experience".
His son Monam continues to play for Port Fairy in Melbourne, where his winter has so far produced 453 runs and 28 wickets.
