
Award winning Jake Wish shone with bat and ball as Rowledge’s young side celebrated a second consecutive Southern Premier Division 1 victory, beating Sarisbury Athletic by 54 runs at Allotment Road.
Left-hand all-rounder Wish, top scored with 48 and later took three wickets as Rowledge followed up a curtain raising three-wicket win over Portsmouth on a positive note.

Rowledge posted a healthy 207-8 off 40 overs before restricting Sarisbury to 153-9.
Skipper Ben Wish, who was involved in four dismissals behind the stumps, three of which were off the bowling of his sibling brother, is delighted the way his young side have started the season.
He said: “I’m really pleased with the lads. For a side that has seven lads aged 22 years or under they have been brilliant these last two weeks. There’s a great team spirit. “
Wish is certainly giving his young charges their heads with Jonty Sebborn (36) sharing useful top order stands with Sam Plater (26) and Jake Wish, before the all-rounder put Rowledge firmly in the driving seat in another stand with Oli Baker (27) which progressed the score to 152-2.
Odiham & Greywell raised Zac le Roux (33) later made his mark while Sam Hill (5-28) produced a noteworthy spell of left-arm spin or the hosts.
Jack Lovett (57) and Josh Hill (29) took Sarisbury to 97-2, but wickets tumbled regularly after that, Wish taking three and teen spinners Oli Baker (2-22) and Ethan Martin bowling tidy eight-over slots.
