Rowledge have celebrated the career of distinguished left-hand all-rounder Chris Yates, who played over 900 times for the club, scoring in excess of 10,000 runs and taking over 1,000 opposition wickets.
He made a personal best 148 not out against Purbrook, with a 9-25 bowling return against Havant.
Rowledge chose their annual President's Day to celebrate Yates's 54 years at the club, presenting 'Senior' as he's affectionately known, with a mounted montage of newspaper cuts and photographs.
Chris also represented Hampshire Seniors in the National Sixties Championships on more than 50 occasions, taking 55 wickets with his economical left-arm bowling.
Now a passionate Tottenham Hotspur sporter, he was a top amateur footballer in his younger days, scoring 196 goals in 326 appearances, primarily as a left-winger for Windsor & Eton in the Isthmian League. He also played for Farnham Town, Wokingham and Woking.
