Queensland talent Toby Snell hit a second consecutive century and took a step closer to a personal 500-run milestone as he led Burridge to a 38-run win over ECB Southern Premier League cellar dwellers Bournemouth at Botley Road.
The Toombul youngster followed up the previous week's 115 against Bashley (Rydal) by scoring 116 as Burridge posted a towering 314-9 before Bournemouth responded with a creditable 266 all out.
The 48-run win left Burridge third in the log, 19 points behind leaders Lymington, whom they play again on July 27.
Burridge were in a spot of early bother at 27-3 but Snell and the ever reliable Dan Stancliffe (45) recovered affairs with a fourth-wicket stand of 90.
Hitting a six and 16 fours in his hundred, Snell then relished a second century partnership, this time with Azim Chowdhury [below], who plundered 56 of his 68 runs in boundaries before becoming one of five victims for left-arm spinner Connor Smith (5-70). Inayat Ullah then pilfered 34 runs off 18 balls to send Burridge to 314-9.
