South Wilts batter Jack Mynott hit a half-century in what may be his farewell WACA Premier Grade appearance for Fremantle prior to his probable UK return in a week's time. He scored 57 as Fremantle ran up a formidable 365-5 against Mount Lawley. Mynott will turn to spin bowling duties on day two of the final WACA match before Christmas after which he will fly home to enjoy his turkey with his family at a slap up meal at the Viscount's residence.
