South Wilts are Wiltshire Vitality Under-19 T20 champions after a faster run rate victory in the three-way final against Biddestone and host club Potterne.
The three teams beat each other in the round-robin tournament, with South Wilts (114 all out) losing by 16 runs to Biddestone (130-8), who had lost their opening game to Potterne.
But South Wilts bossed the ‘winner take all’ final with Potterne, openers George Edwards (53) and Ed Wade (50) hitting half-centuries ahead of support knocks from Jayden Atkinson (31) and James Wade (22), who steered the eventual county champions to a towering 185-5.
Wade, with figures of 4-7, and Josh Croom (3-10) blasted Potterne out for 55 to ensure a South Wilts victory.
