Oli Southon five-wicket haul
Half-centuries by Aussie Toby Snell and Sachin Suresh carried Burridge to a comfortable six-wicket haul over the Hampshire Academy, whose lower-order was blown away by Oli Southon.
Southon returned figures of 5-41 after the Academy had tumbled from 153-4 to 214 all out at Botley Road, the last five wickets (all bagged by the Burridge captain) falling for 21 runs.
The Academy lost opening pair Sam Ashman and Finn Gordon in the space of three deliveries at the start of their innings, leaving England Under-19 batsman Ben Mayes (56) and Andrew MacEwen (55) a rebuilding exercise.
The pair both departed soon after reaching fifty, leaving the onus on Charterhouse raised Ollie Webster (32) to keep the scoreboard ticking.  Manny Lumsden and Zach Basey provided support before  the late collapse.
Burridge lost an early wicket before Joe Collings-Wells (44) and Snell put the 2023 champions on top.  Sachin Suresh (58), an SPL3 title winner with Trojans, and Inayat Ullah (28 not out) tidied up the win.
