Lewis Mitchard back for Sparsholt [Bob Selly]
Skipper Jeremy Frith is backing his bowlers to come good after Sparsholt failed to defend the 302-6 they scored against Sarisbury Athletic in last weekend’s Southern Premier League Division 1 opener.
Sarisbury, in response, rattled up 306-4 to win by six wickets – with four overs to spare !
Sparsholt are back at the Norman Edwards Ground again, with all-rounder Lewis Mitchard returning to beef up Frith’s seam attack.
Hampshire’s Lewis McManus, now fully on the mend, will again don the gloves for Andover, but opener Ali Hooper is participating in the New Forest ‘Iron Man’ event.
Sparsholt: Frith, Haworth, Vokes, Perrin, Banks, Taylor, O’Brien, Mitchard, Doran, Weir, Whiting.
Andover: M Hooper, Duckworth, Treagus, McManus, Ayers, Birks, Knight, Taylor, Veettil, Jansen, Adams

Tom Nightingale, who hit an unbeaten 112 against Sparsholt, is expected to feature again for Sarisbury Athletic, who have yet to unveil their side for the trip to New Milton.
New Milton: G Watts, L Beck, M Freeman, D Loader, S Watts, R Beck, J Adams, C Golding, D Wakefield, L Mortimore, J Haggaty.
Arguably the top SPL1 match is at the King George V Ground, where Hook & Newnham Basics host Portsmouth.  Both teams won their opening games, with Hook unchanged from the side which won by 38 runs at Calmore Sports
Hook & Newnham Basics: J Buckingham, Willcock, Thomson, Bruin, M Buckingham, Franklin, James, Murrell, Brewer, Shore, Divecha.
Portsmouth: Ben Duggan, James Christian, Fraser Hay, Jack Marston, Dan Wallis, Matt Shaw, Jordan Palmer-Goddard, James Holder, Andrew Marston, Reuben Mcardle, Ethan Randall.

Rowledge: B Wish, Yates Jnr, R Yates, Morant, Wilson, Lloyd, Board, Metcalfe, Baker, Ryman, S Martin.
Ventnor host OTs & Romsey at Steephill, both sides having lost their opening matches.

Fair Oak: Abbas, Hughes, Kemp, Gwynn, Reidy, Smith, Bullough, Oxley, Featherstone, Mash, Stewart.
