Promoted Sparsholt have recruited Aussie left-arm quick bowler Jak Willcox to spearhead their attack in Southern Premier Division 2 this summer.
Jak has a wealth of high level experience in Australia and has overseen success as the First Grade captain and club coach of Ginninderra in the Camberra based ACT Premier Cricket competition for the last 4 years.
Jak says “It’s a very exciting opportunity and a privilege to come across and be a part of the Sparsholt family for the upcoming UK summer.
"I can’t wait to arrive and provide opportunities for the club to grow across all programs, not only this summer but hopefully for many more to come”.
Willco, who replaces Totton & Eling bound Joe Merlino as Sparsholt's overseas player, will coach the club's juniors, men’s and women’s sections.
Sparsholt open their SPL2 challenge at Liphook & Ripsley on May 2.
