TWO ALL OUT - AND NOT A SINGLE BATSMAN SCORED A RUN !

If your team is finding run scoring difficult this season, then spare a thought for Huntingdonshire County League Division 4 cellar dwellers Buckden seconds, who failed to muster a single scoring shot between them when they visited high fliers Falcon II, ten miles up the A1(M).
They could only muster nine men for the short trip and, knowing that posting a competitive total might prove difficult and to try and garner the odd bowling bonus point, won the toss and put Falcon into bat.  So far so good ...
Buckden duly collected three points from their endeavours but their seven fielders got a bit of a chasing as Falcon flew up a sizeable 260 for six.
Alas Bucken, a small village on the outskirts of Stamford, didn't do anything near as well with the bat - and were bowled out for TWO, eight players getting ducks  !
Falcon's bowlers, Amandeep Singh (six wickets for no runs) in particular, soon got their talons into the Buckden team. All nine batsmen failed to score a single run - of the dismissals, three were bowled, three caught and two trapped lbw. The grand total of two comprised a bye and a wide !  Buckden's innings lasted 51 legitimate balls and they lost by a tidy 258 runs.
