Hartley Wintney's Darren McBride (left), with an unbeaten 81, and Sparsholt chairman Andy Worth, who made 62 not out, swept Hampshire Seniors to a ten-wicket win over their Sussex 50s counterparts at Basingstoke's May's Bounty.
Sussex were pegged to 147-9 (Michael Bell 46), with Havant's Pete Hayward taking 5-16 on debut and well supported by Nic Gargaro (2-23) and Jamie Donaldson. McBride and Worth carried Hampshire to victory with 22 balls to spare.
