James Taylor will be looking to inject his outstanding second team form into Totton & Eling’s vital bottom-of-the-table Southern Electric Premier Division 1 match against near neighbours Calmore Sports at Southern Gardens.
Taylor has twice scored centuries amid his 318 runs in three matches for Totton 2nd XI this season, but got a duck and only 14 in his two first team outings.
Totton need Taylor to make an impact in the basement clash which sees the two local clubs – whose grounds are barely two miles apart – wanting to move out of the bottom three.
