They won their opening nine matches and across the season racked up 250-plus totals on 10 separate occasions, making 398-6 at Hartley Wintney and 310-5 against St Cross Symondians II.
South African Matt De Villiers, who plays for Western Province CA Premier champions Claremont in Cape Town, set a new SPL batting record with 1234 runs, including five centuries and seven of fifty runs or more. He also weighed in with 25 wickets.
George Marshall (617), Australia-bound Dan McGovern (596), Chris Pratt (312) and Henry Glanfield (304) also made their mark with the bat, while spinners Jonty Oliver (24) and George Harding (23), and Glanfield (23) provided De Villiers with key bowling support.
