Hampshire’s cricket staved supporters will be able to watch the county’s Academy side in action next Saturday – but they’ll have to hop into their cars and make the trip to Alton to see them.
With the Ageas Bowl hosting international matches throughout the summer, the Academy will play all their upcoming 40-over matches in the Southern Premier League Cup away from their normal Nursery Ground headquarters.
They will play eight East group matches in the Premier/Division 1 League Cup, with matches (starting at 12.30pm) at
Alton, Jubilee Ground, July 18
Portsmouth (St Helen’s, Southsea), July 25
Rowledge, August 1
Sarisbury Athletic, August 8
St Cross Symondians II (Green Jackets), August 15
Sparsholt, August 22
Burridge, August 29
Havant, September 5
If the Academy top the East Division table they will face the West Division winners in the League Cup final on Saturday September 19.
