Off-spinner Brad Taylor has followed quickly into the footsteps of his Hampshire 2nd XI team-mate Joe Weatherley by being named England Under-19 captain.
Weatherley skippered England on last winter's tour to Australia - Taylor will do likewise when the young lions go to Sri Lanka in two months time, where they will be involved in a tri-nations series against India and the host nation.
Taylor, who went on that same Australia trip, is joined in the England U19 party by leg-spinner Mason Crane. The trip is part of the preparations for next year's Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh.
Hampshire Academy spin all-rounder Felix Organ, who helped Hampshire win the Under-17 county championship last month, is among ten players selected by the ECB to take part in a winter training camp at Loughborough University.
