To the rescue ! Ben Draper 56 gives South Wilts stability. All pictures by Roy Honeybone.
South Wilts lost four top order wickets for three runs – three of them in the space of seven deliveries - at London Road, but recovered to post 198 and then bowl Andover out for 152 to record a fourth successive Southern Premier League Cup win.
The victory secured a third place finish in the nine-team group, with eventual West division winners Bournemouth the only side to beat them in the successful 40-over competition – and that was only by four runs !
South Wilts appeared well placed at 62-1 with Tom Morton (39) threatening a score, but when he holed out to Will Carr the visitors top order fell apart.

Andover's Rowan Duckworth took three wickets in seven balls.
Bristol University ecology graduate Rowan Duckworth (3-20) quickly removed Raff Hussey (21) before sending Peter Rowe and Will Harries back to the pavilion in quick succession, both for ducks.  South Wilts 65-5.
Ben Draper (56) kept his cool amid the mayhem and found an improbable partner in Steve Warner (31), who justified his promotion up the order in a 72-run sixth-wicket partnership which turned the tide in South Wilts favour.
Matt Hooper and Will Carr made further inroads, but Draper later found another useful ally in Josh Croom (23) and together they added a further 41 to take the game away from Andover.
Tom Lewis was spectacularly caught on the boundary by substitute fielder Ben Black attempting a six to bring up the 200.

Josh Croom tore through Andover's top order.
It was Croom (3-25), this time with his pacey left-arm bowling, who dismantled Andover’s response, taking out Glyn Treagus, Andrew Duckworth and Carr in quick succession as the Lions sank to 36-5.
Matt Burton (3-30) created further problems before Matt Knight (42) and Richard Taylor, with a no nonsense 49, gave Andover’s 152 respectability.
